TU Volleyball

Our Trinity women's volleyball team started the season on a tear with a three game winning streak. The ladies luck quickly ran out when they dropped two games to Mass-Boston and Whitworth. In her twenty-sixth year as head coach of the volleyball team, Julie Jenkins is ranked in the top ten in active coaches for most career wins. In her career at Trinity she was one an outstanding fifteen SCAC championships and has made seventeen straight NCAA tournaments. In her tenure at Trinity she has had twenty-seven all americans selected. Although coach has never won a national championship they are training harder then ever to reach the pinnacle of NCAA volleyball, a National Championship. Leading the offensive attack is sophomore outside hitter Madison McMahon, and leading our defensive stand is sophomore libero Meredith Erwin. This coming weekend the Trinity Volleyball will be hosting their third annual Dig Pink event to help raise awareness for Breast Cancer. This event will occur during our Trinity University National Invitational in which we will be hosting Claremont-M-S, NYU, UT-Dallas, & Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Our ladies will be in action this Friday at 3:15 taking on Claremont. Come out and show your support and wear pink to support breast cancer awareness.
