Bring on the Championships


The Trinity Volleyball team will be hosting the 2010 SCAC Championships this weekend in the Bell Center. Our volleyball team finished with an overall record of 21-14 and a conference record of 10-4. Our Tigers are seeded fourth in the upcoming SCAC Championships. There first match of the tournament will be Friday at 2 p.m. here taking on the Kangaroos of Austin College. Moving on the Trinity Tiger tennis legacy wins another national championship as seniors Cory Kowal and Bobby Cocanougher won the doubles national championship.
Next the Men's and Women's Soccer teams' seasons are coming to a close. The Men, who are currently ranked number one in the country have an overall record of 16-2 only losing two nail biter games against Mary-Hardin Baylor (1-0) and Christopher Newport (1-0). They will finish their season this weekend on the road taking on Centre and Depauw. The Women are currently ranked sixth in the country and have an overall record of 15-1 only losing to Hardin-Simmons. The women will also finish there season on the road taking on Centre and Depauw. Both Men's and Women's soccer will most likely be hosting the first and second round of the NCAA regionals. Come out and support all the fall sports as they rap up there seasons and go into playoffs.
